The buzzing capital of Denmark mixes modern architecture with ancient castles and palaces, stunning waterways with broad boulevards, trendy restaurants with cosy cafes. There is a host of things to do and see; Tivoli Gardens, the Little Mermaid, Nyhavn (The New Harbour), Christianborg (the Danish Parliament) and Amelienborg Royal Palace. And any amount of museums.

You’ll find a city hell-bent on being carbon neutral by 2025. You’ll see little or no litter, recycling on a grand scale and almost no use of “one-shot” plastics. Green spaces abound, the locals cycle everywhere, electric transportation and the air is beautifully clean, all year round. Why would you not want to visit!

Our three-day trip allows us to see and explore as many of the sights as possible, staying at the brand new Copenhagen Island Hotel. This 4* hotel sits right on the water’s edge, not far from many of Copenhagen’s attractions and close to rail, bus and tram stops. To make getting around easy, we have included a three-day travel card, valid from the morning after we arrive until we depart. We travel between the airport and the hotel by the very frequent and fast metro link.

We have included two evening meals, allowing you the opportunity to sample something different on your own. You can, of course, join your escort, Alan, but the meal for that evening will be at your own expense.

Hotel Upgrades

The standard hotel rooms have a view of the street. Our hotel sits right on the water’s edge and if you’d like to upgrade to slightly larger room and have a beautiful harbour view, please let us know.

Note regarding fares:

The airfares and flight times are accurate as of the date of printing this (21 Nov 2023) but can change, ie; increase, without notice and we will have to adjust the cost of this tour accordingly. We suggest you book as early as possible.

We need a minimum of 12 participants to run this tour and we will only confirm your place, once we have reached that number. We will honour the airfares until 10^th Dec 2023.
